Quiet Mind Meditation

Quiet Mind Meditation was established in 2009 with the aim of providing a simple, straightforward and non ‘mumbo-jumbo’ approach to meditation instruction.

After learning meditation as a teenager, Sarah found that her ongoing meditation practice instilled a deepen sense of calmness, clarity and balance to her life .. a positive foundation for managing a challenging and demanding twenty year career in the highly competitive world of executive recruitment. Sarah is well aware of the complex and demanding levels of stress found across corporate offices and boardrooms.

Her ‘secret’ for maintaining an openness and resilience in times of pressure and stress .. was meditation.
"In meditation we embrace this concept of 'mindful stillness' .. allowing the body to achieve a deep state of relaxation and the mind to still and quiet, while being aware of a heightened sense of alertness. The ability to be both extremely relaxed and alert describes the meditative state and for millennia practitioners across countries and traditions have discovered that they can achieve this state through the cultivation of gentle focus and awareness."

Sarah encourages an exploration of both the ‘art and the science’ of meditation, and aims to provide participants with an opportunity to experience a variety of different relaxation and meditation practice so that each participants can find the best technique for them (this is the key to continuing with meditation .. to enjoy it!)..
